Crowds flock to monkey ‘wedding’…
Some 3,000 villagers have attended an elaborate Hindu wedding ceremony in eastern India for two monkeys.
The “bride” was dressed in a five-metre long sari and decked in flowers. The ceremony took place last Thursday in Ghanteswara village in Orissa state.The guests were served a feast of rice, lentils, vegetables, fish and sweets.

Incidentally, i LOVE the fact that there are loads of fans in the audience playing along with him, I guess this is the same kind of thing JoCo was trying to do, but with Ukes
Mrs zym has recently acquired a small sewing machine. I have been trying to pursuade her to use it for good rather than evil, and to make a sock monkey for zym 2.0
She is starting her maternity leave on Friday and i think it would be an ideal little project. But if she doesnt want to make one - i will

The song was recorded by the Jerry Reed, the bloke who played “Snowman” in the film, and it got to Number 2 in 1977. In my opinion its the best song about transfering large amounts of illegal booze across America that ive ever heard.

I added this to Ukulele Hunt’s new Chord Depository ‘Uker Hunt’ the other day, and i thought i might as well stick it up here now.
Its a nice little uke version of Razorblade -my favourite track of The Strokes’ third album, ‘First Impressions of Earth’
