The Robot content of this site is often rather lacking. Hopefully this clip will do something about that..

Appearing on flickr as bug@hobgob, a bit of a google reveals them to be members of the Brockley Ukulele Group (B.U.G) performing at The Hob Goblin as part of the Newcross Festival.
Its definately worth visiting their website - http://brockleyukegroup.blogspot.com There’s some chord links to some great tunes - you sick little puppies
Its no good. Im going to have to start up my own Ukulele Group - anyone want a H.U.G?
This was brought to my attention a while back via Kotaku - and having finally got round to watching it, it does indeed rock!!
Our host Todd N Tuckey takes us on a tour of TNT Amusements, taking in Pac Man, Pinball, Stupid jokes, and countless electronic circuit boards

When you’ve finished watching this, you can start on part two here
Woah!
Those dudes must be smoking some pretty strange stuff over in Santa Cruz! No doubt bored of making bongs out of apples, Etsy user ‘klayne’ has come up with the idea of making a Ukulele out of a gourd!

“This is not a toy! This unique soprano ukulele is built with a body made from a hollow gourd. You’ll look long and hard to find another one like it.
Besides the gourd body, this uke features a 13-5/8-inch scale, the same scale length used by Kamaka for its classic instruments.
The top is redwood; the neck is poplar; the bridge is rosewood; and the fingerboard is oak.
Ukuleles are extremely popular these days and becoming more so. You can own this unique example for only $185.00 plus $20.00 shipping. Or – pick it up in Santa Cruz, enjoy a day at the beach, and save the shipping charges.”
Whats next, a double bass made out of a Pumpkin?
(In all seriousness, Sitars are traditionally made from Gourds, so its not that wacky an idea)
Love him or hate him, i think every (British) Ukulele needs to have at least one GF song in their repertoire - this is mine.
A quick google shows that there are a few other versions of this song on the interweb, but this one was given to me on a tatty old piece of paper by a family friend when i first started playing the Uke.
I think it does the job quite well, and being in C means its quite good for beginners.
When I’m Cleaning Windows - George Formby
When playing the Ab7, i tend to cheat and use my thumb to finger the ‘G’ String - ooer!
monkeys - tick
ukuleles - tick
robots - tick
3 x Awesome!!
Is this the best tattoo ever?

Jesus, this site is turning into a right cess-pit!!
(thanks to Maffu for the photo)
2 girls 1 cup
If you dont know what that means, i would suggest you be very careful when googling it. If you do know what it means - then you obviously spend too much time on the interweb (and you’re a sick little monkey to boot
)
Canadian Jon Lajoie knows what it is, and he wrote a song about it a while ago. It goes with out saying that the lyrics to the song are suitably NSFW!!

I completely forgot about this song until i remembered that i might be expected to do a turn at my Father-in-laws upcoming 60th Birthday Party ![]()
The chords are on Jons website - www.jonlajoie.com (caution: theres a very annoying/loud flash intro on the site) But ive ‘ukeified™’ them to work a bit easier on the Uke
2 Girls 1 cup Song - Jon Lajoie
The end ‘refrain’ in ‘F’ still cracks me up everytime i hear it.
